yeah which i love! the intrigue is that most practical tourers aren’t made from £5k in small batch cnc bike parts and don’t have SRAM AXS up to the gills

It's a tiny niche. I suspect tourists are almost never gearheads, so they'll always settle for a Dawes Galaxy and massive bags. If I tell them my bike needs the same effort for 60 miles as theirs needs for 70, they think I'm an eccentric.
