  • What charity shops/places in North London (Stoke Newington) will be happy to take in a literal van load of clothes?

We're clearing the flat of a young-ish woman who had a lot of decent quality clothes and other things that are very charity shop friendly, but I feel I'd be overwhelming any individual shop I take that much stuff to.

  • I would call the charity you'd like to donate to and ask them the best way to go about it. Or call the shops and ask them.

E.g. The British Heart Foundation do house clearances and will also pick up large furniture items for free. It doesn't say on their website that they offer pickups for large amount of clothing, but I suspect that's probably because it's a niche thing. They definitely have vans and will come and pick stuff up.

  • Think Traid would be fine with the clothes, it's what they specialise in.

They'd probably even collect it if you needed.
