I've used a bunch of Snails, absolutely fine for the price.

Thanks all. Will take a punt on a cheap Snail, then if it doesn’t work out can always upgrade to Stone later without much of a loss!

Does anyone have a recommendation for some 35cm wide drop bars? Enve SES style
-
• #11630
You mean 35cm at the hoods and flared like their aero bars?
If so speeder do them. Took me ages to hunt these down

Reporting back on a recent purchase of photochromic glasses following guidance here:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004798381916.html
Bought the 4-lens option with black frame, used the orange mirrored lens whilst out in Girona and I found it excellent in just about all light conditions.
I used the photochromic lens for a 400 Audax at the weekend and, whilst I have nothing to compare it to given I've never used a photochromic lens before, I found it really good. Again, excellent in all light conditions, particularly moving from bright sunlight to sheltered lanes with lots of tree cover and back out again. I took them off at dusk as I felt like they weren't 100% clear and I needed every bit of light, could also have been that my eyes were tired by then. I also find that the air hitting my face/eyes helps keep me alert through the night.

I think the fsa is the closest.
Unless anyone sees a 130 doyenne anywhere. -

I don't know about like but I know the actual stem is by controltech
https://www.controltechbikes.com/products/item/205.html
Wether or not you can buy one in the UK, I don't know
-
• #11642
Hmm.
I could get someone to send it to me.
How
Do I get them logos off -

Acetone

This stem looks the nuts, with that flat top surface all the way to the front. Looks so much cleaner than the screw boss bumps on pretty much every other stem.
I've never understood why other stem manufacturers don't do something similar.

I’ll x2, I picked up some cheap SCVCN photochromics - different style, and have been very pleased with them.

That stem from decathlon is the NEW CONTROLTECH FALCON I think?

Weird, the link above works fine for me.
I bought these ones

Thanks. Looks like something wrong with my Aliexpress set up as I get the same "cannot be shipped to your address" message on that link as well. Who knows what is going on as I've bought plenty of stuff previously with no problems.
EDIT - I made it work now by clicking in and out of my profile. Thanks all
That's one of those products where it's actually cheaper to make it well than to make it badly. I've got a snail waiting to go on the MTB and it looks fine. As onyerbike intimates, loads of Stone satisfied customers out there.
