Thought this might be the case!

Thank you - without being able to see the freehubs clearly I'm not sure - which wheels did they come with as that'll determine if compatible I think..
-
• #7654
Unsure of exact wheels off the top of my head, as I have either shifted them on or can't remember exact models. But the box was Prime and Hunt spares and some Tailfin bits. Will check what I can find, get better pics of the freehubs and PM.

Was only expecting one roll per item, accidentally got a lifetime supply of bar tape now 😏

Aren't prime components still in operation?

Try clicking through to buy something. Your options are CRC or Wiggle.

That cos Prime was a wiggle home brand.

• #7660
Yes I know, that was my point.

Might be worth keeping tabs to see if the bloodbath returns online as well as in Evans stores

Maybe not a bargain but a very nice Basso Lotto

Evans Cycles West End store on Mortimer St. Is closing down, loads of parts and pieces on sale. Some bargains to be had.
Shame to see another bricks and mortar shop close.

Could be a scam, could be they bought some stock from a shut down lbs
vittoria terreno dry 650 47c folding £14.99
I've taken a risk on some tyres via my AMEX

Presume they sell digital bar tape somewhere in the metaverse.
-
• #7666
Don't think it's a scam or sell off. Been bought by planet x founder, see: https://www.retrobike.co.uk/threads/cheap-26-tyres-at-banana-industries.478441/page-2

Cool. Thanks for that.
I feel more confident about my 3 sets of tyres arriving now and less worried about having to call amex.

Ordered a cheapo Brand X headset from Banana Industries via eBay - arrived next day on a Royal Mail 24 hour service. So can confirm legit (if currently flipping Wiggle bargains for a profit)

Posts half way down the thread on BearBones here https://bearbonesbikepacking.co.uk/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=167&start=4925
Seems to be an actual shop that you can go and visit too!
Some may be interested to know that following Banana Industries going into liquidation last year, the company was bought by Dave Loughran, founder and former owner of PlanetX and legendary bike industry wheeler-dealer. [retro bikes].
And
I saw all the banana industries posts so had a look at their site... Was about to order various stuff, and then had a look at where they are - turns out I go past their back wall on my way home. Called in this afternoon, and it's an Aladdin's cave of crazy stuff! Loads of lamps and other shiny stuff and then bike things on racks too.

Yeah the numbers are all over the place, just like old school planetx.
I figure it they aren't the size based on the title I'll return them. There are also
panaracer pari Motos in 27.5 1.9 but also in 1.75Hundreds of saddles too.
It's the richer sounds of bike shops.

Any idea if those terranos are tubeless compatible?
-
• #7674
I'm reasonably sure as far as the various terrenos go, the tubeless ones have a grey or tan sidewall.

Cheers. Might be worth a punt at that price anyway.

Have a look in the box of spares here and drop me a line if anything looks promising.
Same goes for end caps if you can see the ones you need or might do the job?
