Thanks, will have a browse. Lots of usb versions, will search for battery pack ones. Not touching temu with a barge pole given their history!

I honestly felt the same, i tried it out for work and most of it is crap but the led stuff has been ok. Had a custom neon sign made for my wife's tattoo shop and it is awesome.

Sadly selling my Bullit in favour of a more partner-friendly Tern.
Could split canopy and seat too :)

did utfs but to no avail. someone on here mentioned fitting a dropper seatpost to their urban arrow. thinking of doing the same but concerned it will swivel enough for the ridiculous angle of the ua seat-tube???

Hmm will vary depending on dropper I guess!
Are you on the UA Facebook group? Could be worth asking on there for tried n tested combos

Met a fellow cargo biek dad at the half-term
child prisonholiday camp drop off yesterday morning, got chatting bikes as you do. He let me have a go on his urban arrow (not a euph). First thing I did was almost crash it straight into a curb - was not expecting the steering to be as sensitive as that. I guess you get used to it but I can see why some people don't get on with it. Was impressed by the turning circle tho, defs a lot more nimble than my tank.Ran some errands afterwards, added a bit of extra length to the bike.

Yes to the Etap. I had access to cyclescheme and didn’t need a bike so I just used it on components. Hope cranks and rear hub, Thomson accessories and a Son dynamo.

Not relevant to everyone on here but in our neck of the woods (Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole), our council has just released a 50% match funding business decarbonisation grant which can be used to purchase a cargo bike.
This is part of the UK Shared Prosperity fund so I'd expect to see quite a lot of these types of grants popping up elsewhere, in some areas, like Bristol City, the grant distribution has been delegated to the local BID to determine who gets it.
It seems like sole traders (self employed) people would be included in this funding, they definitely are in the BCP funding.
Also as an aside Larry vs Harry have gone back to distributing directly to UK stockists, which has (in theory) brought the price down on new Bullitt bikes.

That's great to hear, I'm hoping to get an X early next year.

based on what it was like to bring in Omnium when it was direct import, it will probably be slower but yeah since Covid/Brexit/energy prices/increased storage costs having a UK distributor for cargo bike brands just doesn't seem cost effective without adding cost to the final RRP
