I was only joking but I'd assume white is some sort of bleach or acid wash rather than a stained colour.
They would have to do this prior to colouring it anyway to allow for consistency. It's all down to ££ really.Either way is colour really your biggest concern? If so buy a packet of dylon and go wild on the colour of your choice? You could even tie dye it! Or just SFAB brown?
Normally white is dyed though, no? Like, no fabric/yarn/silk/whatever is brilliant white by default so they've just fucked chemicals over it to make it white and show all the stains better.
