  • I'm not a bus geek by any means, but even I'm tempted to do the Superloop tour (the inner ring, that is--not sure I'd have the stamina for the outer ring they're planning, and it obviously gets complicated with the non-orbital routes, so not thinking about those, either). A friend of a friend has done it and it apparently took ten hours. Hard to find the time but I'm thinking about it.

Doing it clockwise means either getting to Thamesmead to start it there and then go from about four o'clock to about three o'clock (North Woolwich), or to start somewhere else and then cross the river at Woolwich and get to Thamesmead (probably on the 177) to catch the SL3. All the other connections are reportedly easy to make.

Better orbital public transport routes are needed in London to counterbalance the radial focus on Central London.
