13 June.
Things are slow in France, although the dealer is going to polish the headlights up and sort a couple of parking dings on the rear right archThey may seem like great value in the UK, but in France they are bloody expensive, like all cars.
Still it is fairly low mileage (43000 in imperial) and the first owner ticked all the nice options boxes. -

No supercharger. Just a sweet sounding free-revving 3.5 litre V6.
This one is in very nice condition. They don't put salt on roads round here, so the subframes are all good. -

Am jealous.

Have fun, enjoy the sound.
Never understood the car values in France.

The catch is it's an hour and fifteen drive (without traffic) from my home so every job is c.3hrs commute before I've turned a wrench... less than ideal.

Think these have the ignition advance and fueling on the steering wheel which I had issues with when explained to me.

In the photo of it from head on the panel gap of the bonnet makes it look like it’s had a front end impact

It's low mileage, but is a nearly 20 year old hot hatch from a generation of Renaults that had poor build quality and expensive electrical problems for 6k really a good buy? Colour is awful as well IMO.
-
• #78668
That’s just Renault build quality.

An enthusiastic owner who's done 1000 miles per year for 19 years. Odd. Need to meet him and examine the car.

Shopping for some new tyres for an A Class. What are the Conti GP5K of the auto world. Best all rounders? Car currently has a mix of Conti eco6 and Michelin pilot sport 4.

Goodyear eagle f1 asymmetric - I think they are up to version 6 now
Very good wet and dry performance and not outrageous price .

For some reason, I like the shape.
Tho I liked the song related to the advert...so am I being manipulated?
@hazzelfrazzel @SomethingOrOther build quality wasn't that bad, no worse than anyone else including honda and nissan

I’m not going to buy it but if it was a similar generation Clio for the same mileage it would be nearly twice the price.
Also look at the price of old 106/306 Rallye’s.
And the P1’s- famously when the police used 850’s the way to evade them was to make tight turns in the road which they could not match.
