The Icarus is a great tent, we have the older 600 with the optional front canopy for longer trips.

PM sent re Vango.

Totally second dibs on the Vango, especially as I took the boy camping this week in what turned out to be a sieve. It was an old tent we've used a lot, but not in rain in recent years, and the seals have failed. Still drying out now.

Right then Happy Campers - both tents are currently provisionally sold, but will update if sales fall through. Thanks for all the interest.
As we anticipate the wettest Summer on record, I’m selling a couple of great tents. Given their weight, I’d prefer pick up only in SE23 (Forest Hill), but could bring them in to London Bridge relatively easily.
First up, is our long-standing family tent; a Vango Icarus 500:

This thing is absolutely brilliant as a spacious 4 person set-up, with two separate ‘bedrooms’ and a large living area with a built in groundsheet. It has been frequently used, but well looked after (i.e. never packed away wet), though some of the stitching is going on the outer bag. £75
Second is a Coleman Chimney Rock, 3 person black-out tent:

We got this in place of the Vango as a two-person alternative after our kids grew out of camping and have used it just once. It strikes a good balance between space/ weight and is a decent height. £125
