For some reason me and my friend decided to spend our holiday cycling around southern parts of England. London-Oxford-Bath-Salisbury-Winchester-Brighton-London.
We're gonna choose gravel and single track over paved roads, how much SFAB should we expect? Our route is mostly self drawn on Komoot but we found a couple readily available routes around Brighton (south downs way) and some route options from Brighton to London.

Pending your bikes, Winchester to Brighton might be better done along the coast, winch down to Emsworth area, along to Chichester, follow NCN2.

Unless you want the off roads, in which case loaded bikes along SDW will be beautiful, but hard riding.

I'll ride my Sutra LTD with 2.25" tires and my friend is taking his Fairlight Secan with 42 Ultradynamicos.

Our practice ride a month ago looked like this.
