Posts wheels for sale, I make an offer via PM which they reject. Fair enough, I go back and offer full asking price. On sale thread they then says they've been seduced by 80% off eBay sellers fees. Gets called out on it and then says will honour the sale. Quickly shoots me a PM saying ok to take full asking price, bank transfer on collection. Happy days.

I send a few PMs to arrange collection/payment, radio silence. Turns out they went ahead and posted wheels on eBay anyway, gets called out again and then PMs me saying they got themselves in a twist over price and had a a higher offer on eBay and will probably keep and use the wheels. Posting PMs for transparency.

Hmmm. My commiserations. He just doesn't seem like the type to bugger people over with the businesses and all. But yeah, poor form. And yes, you have given him the benefit of the doubt for long enough now!

Pretty sure Ryan sold those businesses on late last year. He had posted a new operation looking at van conversions, looking through his recent posts may surface it?

Cheers for the help guys, i'll keep trying to contact him. Again seems like a very legit guy just unfortunate that things have taken so long with almost no comms.

Hate to post on here again but I seem to be having bad luck here recently, @willdman has been awol for 9 days now after transferring funds anyone know them irl? Hoping the situation resolves its self as I would love the wheel I purchased but it’s not looking hopeful.

I have to say that unless you know the person or have otherwise got a good IRL connection you NEED to use PayPal goods and services. Yes it's an extra 3% cost but PayPal will always take the buyers side when something goes wrong. Bank transfers etc are completely unsecured by comparison

Luckily I did pay with goods and services, but don’t want to be too hasty on the refund if there is any reason for the nada communication
