I am also a believer of this, I do not understand why fixie people get mad over 1mm diff in chainline but would ride a bike with 1x

Its fake, Unless it’s super off and you throw the chain.

i think you need to ask yourself, can you live with an out of line chain now that you know?
also, the silence from a perfect chainline is the purest joy.

Secondary cabal has informed me, after suggesting that I dimple the chainstay and follow the manufacturer's specifications (how one balances both of these I don’t know) that yes, the wider chain stays might need a wider bb even if the crankset says a certain size and I should just be able to slap a longer axel on
Might mess up the chain line tho
But chain line is fake?
