Any hotel recommendations for a week of honeymoon in Europe? Ideally on the beach where we can relax.

I've never done a beach holiday and everything I've found so far feels really uninspiring.

Can't really recommend a specified hotel, but I found Cassis to be a wonder place for a holiday. It has a beach and a sea front area, it's a lovely town, and it's got lots of vineyards and things to see like the Calanques. Also close to some other towns, and Marseille is an interesting city.

We found Les Roches Blanches in Cassis little bit too ostentatious in terms of the clientele, felt a little bit 90's James Bond.

Maybourne Riviera was very much Daniel Craig era but not on the beach.

Chèvre D'Or in Es was more Connery.
