You know what, a quick scan of ebay shows this really is an excellent thing to buy on ebay.
Loads of people clearly do what you're doing (and I have also done) and buy a linen suit, wear it 2-3 times (if that) and sell. Tbh I think I may have even given my cream linen suit to a charity shop.
