FS: Cannondale CAAD3 Saeco - 54cm - Shimano 105 5800

Hi All,

Selling my CAAD3 that I've owned for 5 or so years! Unfortunately I don't use it nearly enough, it's always been slightly too small for me (and extremely stiff). It's a size 54cm - sizing charts can be found here (https://vintagecannondale.com/year/1997/1997.pdf).

I'm not certain if the colorway is original, but the stamped serial number on the bottom bracket shell suggests the paint has been there since the frame was produced. The fork is not the time carbon fork that originally came with the Saeco team replicas, it's a steel/alloy replacement (1"threadless).

The build:

• Full shimano 105 5800 11 speed groupset (11-28t cassette, short cage derailleur, 175mm crank arm length), with the exception of the brakes which are newer 105 r700o (brakes have been used for only 1 ride)
  
• Shimano RS11 wheelset (great condition) with GP4000S II (plenty of life left on the tires - ridden maybe 500km)
  
• Specialized power expert saddle (143mm width) on a 27.2mm condor inline seatpost
  
• Nitto M151AAF handlebars (4o0mm width)
  
• 1 inch threadless alloy fork with a 1 inch a-headset
  
• Cinelli sesamo 110mm stem (26mm clamp, 1")
  
  

There is a very small ding on the top tube, hopefully visible in the pictures, for the rest the paint and frame are in great condition. No bubbling paint anywhere, but some small usage marks/small scratches across the frame/fork (as is probably expected for a 20+ year old bike!). Pedals not included, but can throw on some partsbin pedals to get you home.

I'm 185cm - it's definitely on the compact side, but it's been pretty comfy for me :)
