Edit: ahhh, he’s got the whip back but still standing down.

He's had the party whip restored.

I don't believe he is standing as a candidate at this election, unless he's had a change of mind. His constituency party have selected Nick Timothy, Theresa May's joint chief-of-staff, as their candidate, so he'd have to find a new constituency to stand in.
