That’s just a small part of his collection. He’s part of a group of 5 or 6 lads over here in Berlin that have formed a group of retro mtbs collecting, riding etc. They each have their own favorites.

Handles superbly! They are an old pair of thorn forks… really weird, but ahead of their time, I think…. Hold on, I’ll dig out pics….. you have been warned, in some incarnations it’s an ugly fucker!😂

Anyone put newer u-brakes on their retro MTB? Wondering if they'll be in any way better than the ones on there currently.

I use a Salt u-brake similar to this, as a rear on my Moser MTB. It's excellent.

I really like this. Looks pretty stock except a few choice modern upgrades that i imagine make it a lot nicer/more practical to ride. Much classier than fully stripped Blue Lugavist builds.
