• Oh that makes sense, and I understand what you meant earlier now. What's stopping someone from chucking on their own 50/37 on wide cranks though? For the Crux it doesn't sound like you need the wide.

    If it's of any use, I bought non-wide cranks for the Grevil, and with a 46t 1x (which I bought for road usage), the clearance is tight. If I upgrade to the PM spindle cranks, I'd probably get the wide.

  • Nothing, I think the Crux chart is just based on off the peg solutions. It’s not needed, but think wide would just make it all a bit less stressful?
