The smallest tolerance is the chainstay, and you can play around with the rear wheel position,
I own a ‘94 special with the straight frontfork, it fits the new pirelli p zero race 28mm on a 19mm rim, it doesnt have the 4 mm clearance on the chainstay and the sram red calipers, so i m at my limit and am happy for the moment,
Remind rim width, tyre width and height.
Edit:Check page 141, is using a 28mm gp4000
