The times radio where utterly damming about the optic of the entire thing and where of the opinion it couldn't have gone any worse. Sunak struggling to be heard over the Labour anthem, a speech so totally out of kilter with people lived experience. The fact that Sunak was unable to make a joke or even a reference to the rain, which would have nullified, to a degree what an idiot he looked, just delivered his lines and ran off.
also lots of very unhappy back benchers saying there not ready, totally f'ed etc.
