I'm 5'11" and my Large works well for me with a 90mm stem.
I wouldn't want to size down if it meant a longer stem.

Marvelous. I'll work towards a large and play with stem sizes, I use wide bars so easy enough to go super short on the stem.
I have shortish legs though so may have shit stand over.

Currently running an oversized marin so really do want a correct sized bike this time round

Have decided on picking up a sonder camino frameset as cycle to work makes it about £25 a month and I have accumulated wheels, crank, groupset so no need for those.
Do people size up or down on frames? Im 5'10 and had a bike fit 5 years ago.
Based on that I could get a medium or large and the only significant differences I can see being a 70 or 50mm stem and 20mm of spacers.
