I have no idea what you mean by this.

It’s been said his talent, among many other things, is in his ability to recover from efforts. Which is obviously an asset in a grand tour but also allows him to train more intensely than others in preparation.

Its interesting comparing him to Vingegaard, who might have the most optimal physique and power to weight for grand tour riding ever.

Yes, but Bernal was rarely getting top 10s in ITTs. You'd expect him to take time in the high mountains, and try and defend his position in TTs.
I don't think anyone would expect him to thrash Pogacar and Wout van Aert like Vingegaard did in an ITT.

Some of Pogacar's gap came from behind today as that group are all thinking about their GC places. Not that it wasn't remarkable but there's no reason to think Vingegaard couldn't have stayed with him, Roglic too perhaps. Hats off too to Thomas, he's a great rider.
Shame all this has overshadowed the return of Sam Bennet in the six days of the four days of Dunkirk.

There's been a ding-dong going on today between the CPA and the Giro organisers because of the likelihood of freezing temperatures and snow/rain on the Umbrail Pass. Extra neutral cars on the race to hand out warm clothing and possibly a neutralised section to allow riders to change clothes before the descent. Hard to see how it's going to work and they won't just shorten the stage.
