Not immediately, first I need to rebuild my savings. But we'll surely do others, we already bought a guidebook for the Carretera Austral. If there's anything we learned is that traveling by bike is just the best.
On that note, Carol had a couple of things published lately from her point of view: this one and this one. It's really amazing that a tandem lets us share something we wouldn't be able to experience together otherwise.

Whoaaa.. That was such a stupendous read. She really nails the intimately difficult aspects that you don't really think about till you're out there really really need to figure out or the journey sours or stops. Both were a superb read. My Sunday evening is made. Give her my thanks.
Also, the Photography really, and I mean really as someone who studied it for many years, nails the journey. They make me itch to hunker down as you guys did and evokes that need to experience the time you've spent out there. Brilliant. Salute to both of you.

I think we talk about the trip everyday.
Ha, I'm sure you do! I have to say I talk about it almost every week: truly inspirational trip, your photography and stories gave me something to look forward to - and still do! I'd love to do a trip like that one day....

Wonderful to hear about the trip from the stokers perspective. I've only just read the first installment, but please tell your SO that I look forward to more, it's a pleasure to read.

Oh the tandem will always be with us. One day we will take it out for another big one that's for sure. But other things first, some years ago we adopted a wonderful but rather anxious dog which we're still learning to travel with (and without). We also moved countries once, and are actually considering a move again (northern Italy is on the cards!). So I guess yes, adventures of another kind lately.
