are they for all intents and purposes the same?
They are not made for the same intents or purposes 🙂
25mm rim is well above the recommended size from Conti who stick to the ETRTO table and suggest a maximum 19 internal for the 28 tyre, so there's that. You're not going to be using bigger tyres on a SuperSix, so stick to the narrower rim.

Ha, knew you'd say that.
It's the new himod which can apparently handle up to 35mm. That being said I can't imagine ever running anything bigger than 30mm tyres on it but then once upon a time I couldn't imagine riding anything wider than 19mm!
The LB WR 40 rims are 25int/32mm ext so 4mm wider internally than the Cannondale wheels which are 21mm... that't the problem is it? The AR series are 21 internal/28 external
Thanks @gbj_tester
No gravel bashing on these wheels or TTs for that matter, just riding around fast. The frame is a super six evo hi mod which Cannondale originally supply with 21mm int and 32mm ext Hollowgram R-SL 50 wheels. All being even which rim is better or are they for all intents and purposes the same? The difference in internal is 21 vs 25mm on the two LB rims I mentioned.
