I normally use questor for this type of insurance with hire cars. Looks like they cover motorhomes

I think this is one for reading the small print of the terms and conditions - whenever I've been looking at excess insurance, most of the policies have been explicit that they're for car hire only, but it's sometimes a bit buried.

I know I've seen some that cover at least vans - can't remember about motorhomes - so wouldn't rely on anything unless it was explicit about covering the vehicle type. I think they've normally been a separate policy type to the more generic, car hire ones.
