Have you looked at the mse recommendations?
I'll check who I used but I'm sure they asked the type of vehicle.

I normally use questor for this type of insurance with hire cars. Looks like they cover motorhomes

I'm looking at taking out some excess protection insurance for a hire in a week's time.
It'll actually be a campervan I'm renting - The sites I've tried for quotes do not ask for the vehicle type, but I've been told by a couple of people that I need to get a policy which explicitly covers for campervans.
Anyone know and/or have any recommendations?
