  • That'd be the dream

  • I'm not aassive fan of Fury but he has shown he's prob the best out there ATM. Usyk could cause problems but think Fury will just smother him use his size to push down to tire Usyk. Usyk is fantastic Boxer but fury is no slouch technically. Points decision to Fury as think he will Ballance out the holding with attacks.

  • Anyone watching? Ituama looks like the real deal and needs bigger challenges. Insane heavyweight for his age. Cordina fight was great but a bit sad to see him lose. Kabayal looks like a handful for lots of the heavyweight hopefuls but sanchez looked seriously not right. Really looking forward to the main event, my money is on fury in 7/8/9 but fear it will be horribly cagey, loads of leaning and holding and probably reasonably comfortable on points. Usyk is absolutely generational talent but size really should show.

  • Whats going on with the atmosphere or lack of it??

  • It's in saudi, never going to be an atmosphere

  • About to kick off. Looks like Fury has slimmed down to box. Would’ve thought using his reach, height and weight would be more effective against Usyk. Considering this, I’m leaning towards Usyk.. probably going to target that cut. If Fury brings his A-Game, he might take it.

  • Stream here seems to work for anyone who's looking

Obviously make sure your adblockers are up to date

  • Looks like Fury brought an entire Formula 1 pit crew

  • Looks like he's had a couple of bumps before coming out.

  • Usyk Surely has this..

  • What a machine

  • draw?

  • Usyk got to be.

  • Usyk it is! Right decision.

  • It’s a two-fight deal.. I expect to see less showboating from Fury next time

  • Usyk deserved that. He worked so hard. How the fuck did fury stay up in that round ? Better fight than I thought it would be

  • Great fight. Was one of those where you have to perfectly time when you glance at the clock! Fury seemed to take it more seriously than usual - at least in terms of preparation, but clearly needs to take it even more seriously to beat such a class fighter. Astounding form throughout the whole fight. Deserved victory.

  • Second Fury loss in October will probably finally land AJ a shot at Fury

  • Really good fight that showed the best of them, Fury unpredictable all the way through (yeah, how did he recover... wtf?), Usyk so consistent overall, all business. Not much holding. Took Fury a little to get in to it then Usyk rightly tired a little by the middle of the fight. After the 8th round it was wild. Even the ring entrances, very entertaining.

  • Usyk seems to have a hidden gear for the later rounds. We shall see what happens in Wembley. The end of an era?

  • Usyk just keeps doing it, whoever he's up against he beats them.

Amazing fighter who is one his way to being one of the greats.

  • A classic. Excited for October.

  • Usyk was fantastic and totally deserved that, really pleased for him.

But what I can't get my head around is Fury's corner. Obviously it's obligatory to say you thought you won when you lose on points, especially a (inexplicable) split decision, but I think Fury genuinely believes it. Why did he stop mixing body shots with uppercuts after that period of dominance mid-fight? Partly because Usyk had an answer, but partly because he thought he was winning comfortably.

The press has obviously picked up on it, and if Sugar Hill is his coach, then his old man and Andy Lee should STFU. It should have been obvious he was behind on points and, had he responded, there could have been a different result. Madness.

  • Totally agree with this, his Dad was ridiculous and the whole corner just seemed confused/confusing and messy. AJ had similar in his first fight with Usyk (https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2022/jun/29/anthony-joshua-let-down-by-his-corner-in-oleksandr-usyk-defeat) and the difference between then and the clarity he now has with Ben Davidson is absolutely marked.
