Using rim brake carbon rims on disc brake hubs, in principle, safe or stupid?
I’ll let our resident experts confirm, but I would think absolutely fine. A rim brake rim is reinforced (brake track) and I think the main concern with disc brakes is that the fork/frame is up to the job.
