  • So, any recommendations for a running watch?

I haven't owned a watch in about 30 years and am not great with anything complex technologically, so something relatively basic that tells you pace and time.

  • I’m replying late to this but.. I really rate my Garmin forerunner 45s ..

It’s the smaller version and has everything i need without being too bulky.

Wrist HRM which seems decent (connects to a chest based also if you need) .. once the screens are set up the display is clear and uncluttered.

I have distance, current pace and average pace on main screen when running..
Heart Rate, Time of day and time elapsed on second screen.

Usual caveats that you need to use the Garmin connect app to get things set up and that’s not perfect.

Battery charges quick and I had no issues >5 hours running with GPS etc. a better charger cable interface than my previous Garmins.

Generally accurate with distances and locations etc.
