It was total shit, I had to watch it when I babysat, and TJ Bleeding Hooker and Knight Bleeding Rider. All shit, also lame.
Richard Burton turned up in one episode when he was on a bottle of voddie a day

You must have been a few years too old. Night rider was quality!!
Next thing you'll be saying is that the Dukes of Hazard was shit 🤣

Night Rider, Fall Guy, the A Team never really improved beyond the titles and I could pretty much draw a map of the locations they used. It’s why Mandolorian is bollocks…it looks like the A-Team in those same scrubby hills outside LA.
Tales of the Golden Monkey (cutters goose) was of a different league though

To add some random soundtracks I like..Juno, La La Land, About a Boy! But don't worry, I've got Judgement Night on CD somewhere. You're just another victim...KID!!
Ps Didn't get on with Triangle of Sadness at all, didn't even finish it. Clichéd characters, script seemed to aim for Baumbach nonchalance but felt wooden, heavy handed messages. Does seem to get very mixed reviews I can see.

Judgement Night was a good soundtrack but it was the gateway to Nu-Metal

Two of my favourites not mentioned:
Arrival by Johan Johannsson,
It follows by disasterpeace. -

I think this might be where the horror began...

SLC Punk has a good soundtrack too.

For sure and Epic by Faith no More

Drive College Hero. Although you also have loads of random scores on it, which ruins it as general listing.
Also Remember the Titans

Not mentioned because those are original soundtracks.

I'm with you, I still enjoy Night Rider now. There's definitely a decent film to be made (along with Street Hawk please).

On a budget eighties vibe I just watched The Caine Mutiny Court marshall. Tuned in for William Friedkin, stayed for really good dialogue and a clever but refreshingly simple setup.

Roger Corman has died. https://www.theguardian.com/film/2024/may/12/roger-corman-obituary Amongst the low budget pulp he made one serious film, The Intruder, which is on youtube. William Shatner stars as a scheming racist agitator. Worth a watch. https://youtu.be/5KUuTJW269M?si=xUx213OKwOOVluFd

Enjoyed my first trip to The Cinema Museum (finally!) this evening for a screening of Kiss Me Deadly, which while quite hard to follow, was pretty compelling.
Am going to check out this Transformers 40th Anniversary thing with my 7yo at the weekend. Had assumed it was the OG movie, so am kind of disappointed it isn’t, but should still be fun.

If you’re ever in Paris I would thoroughly recommend visiting The Grand Rex and doing their studio tour.

Rewatched "Out of Sight" for the first time since it came out. When it comes to Elmore Leonard adaptations, people still talk about Get Shorty and not much about this film, but it was really well done, great cast well used, and interesting for all kinds of reasons; being George Clooney's break out film, and Steven Soderbergh moving mainstream just two of them.
I guess the Oceans trilogy, which reused a fair bit of what Soderbergh did here, eclipsed it in the public consciousness, but they were less subtle and not so interesting.

"Out of Sight"
Thankyou, passed a long train journey wonderfully

Also JLo's only half decent role.
Although to be fair I haven't seen her in Samantha Fox's (Hurt Me! Hurt Me!) But The Pants Stay On.
I am not making this up: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/(Hurt_Me!_Hurt_Me!)_But_the_Pants_Stay_On

One hopes it also cold opens with Kevin Costner drinking his own urine?
(This reminds me that I briefly worked with one of Costner's exes from his Hollywood heyday. You meet all sorts of people in legacy datacentre decomms.
I am not making this up either).
I used to love The Fall Guy series when I was a kid.
