You agreed to £35 plus postage so why should the buyer have to pay an extra £3? Good deal or not is irrelevant.

And I actually agree the original price was more than reasonable and I'd have held firm on that in response to the haggling but that was your call. Doesn't give you the right to withhold postage costs.

I’ve reflected on this a bit. I was annoyed that I had to pay extra, but as others have said the price was very reasonable, and my behaviour wasn’t. I’ve apologised for being a dick. So (I hope) we’re all sorted, and hopefully no hard feelings.
