Yep, correct, just myself and a mate. We mapped out the route on Ridewithgps.
Took us a while to find someone that would rent a) bikes without a tour guide b) 250s rather than big heavy adventure bikes, but we got there in the end.

Sophie's choice comes to mind
Why do you think I'm crowdsourcing the answer. The green looks ace IRL:
But is it £1,470 better?
£23,670 for the Trophy, £25,140 for the Tramuntana (green one) as speced

Blue, much nicer.

I’m the outlier here, and blue would likely have better resale value, but green for me.

YOURE NOT HELPING

I get that alot

resale
Tbh this would be one of my biggest considerations on any vehicle purchase.

Obviously when I say nicer I mean less rank looking, it is a GS after all.
Green reminds of the hideous black and yellow bumblewanker colour scheme on the previous trophy 719.

Things have escalated rather quickly and a green one is available immediately - delivery within a week.
Putting down a deposit today rather than wait until the summer riding season is over.

Someone else saw sense and now you’re the punter?
-
• #25562
I like the green. They're much better looking than the old ones.
-

I think so. Everyone’s gonna go for the blue cred. At this point, you’re already 20k deep, if you can, why not.
I think they have a much nicer silhouette than the previous bikes.

All jokes aside I agree that if you’re spunking real money on a brand new bike, you should buy the bike you want. Monies/choice etc

That green looks superb IRL. Wire spokes are great too but gold rims are a bit too strong a look for my taste...

Green & Gold, for the patrons of Starbucks…

Yeah, I liked them in the press photos but not in person. Also, ain’t no one got time for cleaning spoked wheels.
The forged enduro wheels are sexy so I’m paying for those.
Plus, I’m going to have road tyres on it and road tyres with spoken wheels makes you look like a bellend.

I hadn't rode one in 17 before the trip, you'll be fine :)

Finally put the motorbike back together (I was fixing the rattly fairing, job seems done) and thought I'd pop a pair of garish new bars on. Took ages in the end because essentially I'm a shit mechanic that never thinks things through. Well, turns out the bars are a bit lower and now the control cables and handguards hit the fairing so I can't put the steering lock on....

• #25575
Yeah, gonna need that pick up location. Kthnx
Sophie's choice comes to mind. Thought I liked the green but the blue/white just looks more GS. Exciting times.
