• Advice wanted please- I'm going to have to buy a car in the coming weeks . It'll be for mostly urban driving . Some medium distance trips and the occasional 200 mile motorway journey. I want something cheap to run and insure , comfy, that doesn't feel too basic inside . Compact to mid size . Probably a hatchback.

Have been weighing up either getting something cheap and older , or something around 3 years old, ex fleet / pcp type cars. Would like to keep budget under £10k. Less is better . Though cost over lifetime of ownership is also a factor .

Any recommendations of models I should be looking at? And whether buying something newer is worthwhile over something older . Thanks
