It's only that it has a suspended bit of plastic that actually fits on your head right? To enable the foam to float. There's nothing special in there to enable it to spin, it just floats. I also use a POC spin lid.
I'd say if the foam hasn't taken an actual hit, there's no reason why it's not still fine. Just make sure the plastics are all pushed in and twisted locked into the sockets on the lid and that all your inner foam is velcroed in place.
After my crash yesterday there's some scratches. I don't think it's serious as I didn't land on my head, but I think when I rolledit scraped a little on the rim by my forehead. Anyway; it's a SPIN version of a POC helmet (their since stopped MIPS alternative).
Does anyone know if the MIPS/SPIN is multi-use or just a one-shot as stuff definitely came unstuck a little.
