This discussion seems to have diverged.
Did/do man city financially dope themselves yes or no? If yes they've cheated and their results are invalid. The quality of coach, players, club pitch etc is irrelevant

He went to Bayern Munich when they had a very good team, with no other realistic competition either. Yes he changed their style of football and moved players about, but he was working with a few of the most intelligent players at the time....Thiago, Alonso and Lahm.

I’d suggest there’s no smoke without fire.

City far from their best so far, Spurs looking motivated

Thought City should try and play in Haaland earlier a couple of times to take advantage of Tottenham's high line but they declined, then they started to really try and force that ball and got countered.

This game is going to be the ultimate compromise for Spurs fans - lose but play well so they've got some honour and fucked over Arsenal.

Pep is undoubtedly a great manager, the best in the world.
But if he had been at Liverpool the last seven years and Klopp had been at City, who would have won more titles?

The funny thing is, it is Pep and his thin skin that has prompted the whole discussion. I feel sorry for you all that you can't just enjoy it.

Can Man City hurry up and buy Harry Kane now to bring this boring run to an end.

but that would be like donald trump enjoying winning his golf clubs tournament every year. you feel happy that you won it but you know deep down you've cheated to win

City fans argue you can't replace those experiences over the last decade or so, but once charged, those will surely feel extremely hollow.
-

Imagine if spurs has drawn tonight. Guaranteed no champions league and hand arsenal a big shot at the league.
Tbf it would actually be brilliant if it had gone into the last day and city had to win by however many arsenal scored plus 3. I wouldn’t even have bet against them. West Ham have shipped some goals this season.
