In my work experience when I was 14 I went to British Aerospace in Brough and I had to rivet parts for the AV8B and work on wiring looms for the Tornado. Seemed silly at the time, and in retrospect.

I dunno I guess in my ignorance it's more like a manual sports car.
Using the thrust angle to control your ascent / descent. Fun anyways. Plus the F35 was unavailable. Too many secrets? 🤣

I was there in 1979 for a while, did more walking around nosying than work but started my interest in aircraft
