  • Looks like you have already found a solution but for reference we just got one of these Ridgeback Butchers for a customer, it's about 1/3rd of the price on an electric Omnium so with that in mind here's what we've noticed just from a set up point of view:
    Cons

    • battery charging set up is a lot less clear than Bosch or Shimano, i.e. there's no charging bars or similar
    • it's heavy
    • the rails around the rack are quite flimsy
    • there's no cap for the front rack head tube so it looks really ugly without the rack on it
    • you can't turn the cranks whilst the bike is on its stand
    • the lights aren't wired very well so we rerouted it
    • the battery mount is quite flimsy
      Pros
    • it has walk assist
    • it has lights
    • decent shimano components for the money
    • built in euro lock
    • battery is hidden
Overall it's not a bad option for the money, especially as it costs less than a non electric Omnium but if you've ridden an Omnium, you can definitely tell the difference by a mile
