Maybe the easiest - I take one of these on every holiday with me and use if a hire care has crap/difficult to connect to sound system. Works perfectly well, sound quality surprisingly decent.

Cheers, I did that in the past in an old car and although the sound was OK it was a bit of a faff and I don't think much better than the sound is now.
@kboy I sometimes do that when driving by myself but it's a bit anti-social with passengers.
I have a 2017 Yaris Hybrid and the hi-fi is shit, so much so that listening to podcasts/radio on the motorway it's difficult to make out what people are saying without it being very loud.
In part due to a crappy sound system (there's a real lack of bass when listening to music) and in part due to the car being a bit noisy.
Are there any cheap solutions to this? I'm not looking for amazing sound, just not shit.
