Made some custom levers for a mixed chorus build. Going with retro modern vibes, still need to choose frame though.

Check the compatibility letter. You can see there is an "A" on the package. If all the components have an A on their labels you should be fine.

Thanks for that. Unfortunately I don't have the boxes for any of the other components. From what I've read the post 2015 FD has a different pull ratio to pre 2015 shifters so they won't work properly together. Which is a bit annoying as a pre 2015 braze on FD don't seem to come up on eBay very often. The search continues...

The labels should be on the components as well. I definitely have it on my RD, shifters etc. It could be a bit hidden have a thorough look :)
Good Luck for your quest!

I used a post 2015 chorus FD with pre 2015 SR shifters for years, it was totally fine.

With all the points of engagement on the shifter and using the limit screws i never saw a reason why they couldn't work.

Anyone interested in a BNIB super record 12 speed eps groupset? I bought it for a project but the battery doesn’t fit in the frame! DM if you’re interested

9-42 cassette?

yes

Can be either of 3 things - I would contact the Campagnolo service center (Velotech or Chicken Cycle Kit) for this as it's a common issue with a certain amount of (mostly) 9-42 cassettes.
- The aluminium backing plate
- The spacer that sits inside the cassette as a sleeve - directly positioned behind the alu backing plate
- The lockring / 4 cogs combination (very likely the actual culprit)
I've tried replacing them in the above order and only the lockring /cog combo offered an actual permanent solution over a temporary improvement. I've been using the Ekar noisefree ever since.
They've implemented a running change to all three points above to ensure this problem does not occur anymore. The backingplate now comes with countersunk screws, the spacer is slightly taller and they added a thin spacer inside the lockring / cog combo that prevents the lockring to undo itself. This is the actual reason for the noise to arise.
Initially you'd think loc-tite or a higher torque upon assembly would solve it, but if you do this you'll run into problems when you want to remove the cassette, as the lockring / cog combo comes apart prior to the actual lockring releasing.
Hope this helps!

Long shot but has anyone got a spare lower cone seal for a vintage Campag headset as image below.
Many thanks!

Better off finding a whole crown race I would say, if not ask Mercian they amways have random campy bits from their archives

Picked up a full headset for £20 same model.
I will phone Mercian for a replacement seal if they ever reopen! -

Ratchet ring in my 11 speed Potenza Ergopower RH shifter is bust where it holds the cable, any idea where I can find a replacement, or am I looking at getting a whole new shifter? A quick Google tells me that this part isn't available unfortunately.

Not an official spare part, you’d be looking at replacing the body. You can swap over the rubber and brake lever.
One option you could try is Velotech Cycling, service center of Campag in the UK. He might be able to unofficially assist.

That looks potentially repairable to me... Bit hard to tell from those pics though.
If you fancy yourself as pretty handy and have a dremel and so on, I could probably offer some advice based on clearer pics.

It's a very common problem unfortunately with that age of Campag. After my second, I gave up and bought a new shifter.
Anyone got any 10 speed shifters going at a reasonable rate?
