@atk - ah cool. Did you attach like this? I came across this on bike packing, and wondered if the basket would not move around loads?
If the reviewer is using just those on the heavier french basket / WW bag I'd assume it'd be quite safe.
Edit - just saw they have a sneaky zip tie at the front!!

I use things I now discover are called terry clips. About 6 are cable tied to the wire of the basket and they clip to the tubes of the rack. Means I can yank the basket up to remove and take with me. Fine for around town cruising, but if you're taking your basket off-road they might lose grip over a big bump.

Pretty much. It was a hurried setup meant for one errand but lasted a month or so. I had an additional strap around the tombstone. Didn't notice any movement.
