You demonstrated that £10k road bikes still have to be pushed (as in the humble 'push bike').
Your ride on the Raleigh seems a bit like my rides on ancient bikes. I'm not sure I realised it at first, but I think we're both, in our different ways, expressing what we feel about certain people who hope to buy speed and fitness.
