Probably had the best ride of the year on Saturday. North Downs trails round Ranmore and Mickleham were super tacky, all the weeds haven't grown yet, so no stings or scratches and you can actually see round the corners - plus the last of the bluebells were still hanging in there, to provide some elegance.
It's my favourite time of the year by a mile. Hardly saw anyone out on the trails though. Was a massive queue at the Surrey Hills Brewery afterwards and a busy platform at Westhumble station to get home - but all walkers. Baffles me how everyone seems to head only for Peaslake - bet that was heaving.
