• A bit of a curates egg this, it was originally built by Colin Cape of Swindon for my old mate Dave as a crit racing bike.
Later on he had the cantilever bosses fitted by Pearson who resprayed it in Celeste.
It was then used as a back-up bike for CX racing

  • Lugwork is exquisite but the paintwork is ratty

Not sure how to price this - I was thinking £50 and then about £8 for postage - willing to consider offers

  • This would be pretty fab as a town bike with flat bars & v-brakes - if you added mudguards you’d be the mayor of gentlemantown

  • Campagnolo ends, Nervex lugs, fastback stays - what’s not to like

    Spacing is 126mm

  • What size is it?
And what kind of tyre clearances will you get?

  • 2 very excellent/pertinent questions
    ST c-c : 56 cm
    TT c-c : 57 cm

  • @user16171

The fork will easily take 32mm

The rear is a bit tighter, here’s a pic of a Schwalbe marathon 28 for reference
I still think a 32mm tyre would run
