Oh villa. Long way to go now.

You will be part of a squad of players who will be rotated evenly over the game.
So, 5 minutes each?

Ah well. First European semi for 20 odd years. We are running on fumes after a 54 game season. Well done everyone left standing.

So the guy that took Villa apart..Ayoub El Kaabi. Was raised in a slum, left school at 15 and became a carpenter, he didn’t play any form of organised football until he was 21. He then got picked up by a 3rd tier Moroccan side RAC and spent the next 5-6 years progressing through clubs and divisions in Morocco.
He then signed for Turkish club Hatayspor but was released when the Turkish/Syrian earthquake hit and collapsed the stadium and the club couldn’t sustain a team. Then a brief spell in Qatar before getting picked up by Olympaicos. If we are going to get slapped, it may as well be someone who did it the hard way

That’s a nice take, props. I had a scroll through his Wikipedia page yesterday. It’s quite something, going from leaving school at 15 and only signing professionally at 21 to winning the African cup of nations twice and playing in a European final. A wonderful story.

I took the kids to watch Romford FC Vs Great Wakering at Wembley today. We made a lucky guess and choose to sit in the Romford end who won it 3-0 in the end. The first half was turgid, it made me question my life choices somewhat.
I didn't realise we could have hung around for another game afterwards. Maybe next year....

Fuck it. The premier league is shit anyway.

Come on guys. Someone get at least a draw with city. Arsenal will do the rest.

Arsenal fans, just imagine. If that Newcastle goal at SJP wasn’t given, you would be winning the league next weekend.
In other news, 3 games left for Leverkusen. Augsburg in the league, Atalanta in Europe and then Kaiserslautern in the cup.

If they'd turned up against Villa a few weeks back, they'd still have it in their own hands.

It was glorious having the Championship playoffs today without needing to stress about it, and also knowing that at least one of Norwich and Leeds won't be going up.
-
• #168894
And what a feast of football the playoffs provided!

Headline writer's dream last night with a Duran double salvaging a draw for Villa.
£450 for a ticket (to their charity) to play on the pitch at Craven Cottage (after the end of the season).
