Yeah, see I know this very very well and yet I still end up absentmindedly doing it. I suspect that it’s part of why my post has 5mm squish.
I’d like to service it to have it rock solid again but I’d just end up annoyed going to effort of the service by my self then grabbing the bike by the saddle again. -
I am aware of that, but I’ve done it with every other dropper post I’ve owned/own and they’re all fine.

So far so good- looking what prompted the service was a) I was getting fork and shock done, so why not and b) when the dropper was down and I tried to lift the bike by the saddle it came up then pulled down elasticly
