    @user96502

The bike has just had a service with my mechanic.

    Frame:

A lovely colnago master Olympic with gilco master tube profile and chrome luggs fair few marks & paint chips due to age which is to be expected but overall frame is good condition for a 29 year old frame.

*Please note there is a paint bump on the top tube behind the head tube and paint chips on top and down tube- It may be nothing but the previous owner was not honest with myself about this and I would rather be to any potential buyers. I bought it like this and have been riding it for over a year in this condition fine. I believe that the price reflects this you purchase this bike with this knowledge and on viewing I will show you this and sell if you can confirm you’re happy with this.

Forks: colnago precisa chrome forks in a 1'' steerer slight bit of rust underneath steerer opening due to a few winter rides overall very good condition

Groupset: Campagnolo Centaur 11 speed groupset used condition. RRP: £699.99 New.

The Campagnolo Centaur 11 speed groupset has many changes over the out going Veloce components. The whole groupset weighs 2471g with 11-29T cassette. The is no compromise in performance or longevity. The only difference between this groupset and the higher tier parts are the materials and shifter function.

The Centaur 11 speed Ergo's use an updated power shift mechanism. The update is in the material used to improve long term reliability. The function is still the same, one down shift click from the thumb button and multiple upshifts from the paddle.

Centaur 11 speed shifters and rear mechs can only be used with each other. They are not compatible with other components from the Campagnolo range. Only wide range cassettes should be used with the rear derailleur.

    The ring option is 50/34

The front mech (braze on) uses the same 11+ geometry (long arm) for ease of shifting and a stiff steel cage.

The rear derailleur offered is medium/long cage. There is only one as the casettes offered are wide range.

The Campagnolo brakes are claimed to be lighter than SRAM's or Shimano offering of the same level.

The chain is a a centaur 11 speed chain with joining pin.

    Wheels: 50mm deep carbons

Not a matching pair but both 50mm. Front unknown rim and hub, smooth, little wear to brake track and true. Rear unknown rim on hope mono rs hub. Very loud freehub which you will either love or hate, but can be quietened down a bit with more grease. Fitted with 11 speed campagnolo freehub - (an 11 speed campag cassette will work perfectly with shimano / sram set ups). Smooth and true and also with little wear to track. Some marks from use but nothing major. External rim widths are approx 23mm and these tyres measure up to about 26.5mm across.Brand new continental tyres

Handlebars: unknown black drops with pro bar tape in black

Stem: Black 100mm stem. Unfortunately the mechanic put dents in it either side which is a shame as it was a brand new stem (see pics).

Headset: Campagnolo Super record headset 1'' threaded still perfectly smooth

Saddle: Brooks C17 black which has seen better days, some damage to rear and nose (see pics) but is very very comfy

    Seatpost: 27.2 black seatpost

Extra: Look pedals and I will try and find the silver condor bottle cages but no promises

Absolute beauty and a pleasure to ride

Collection Leyton. I could cycle to meet you within fair distance

I don’t want to post this.

  • Gone up £250 quid since last time it didn't sell on here?

  • Indeed, it’s had a complete rebuild with different groupset, all parts and crabon wheels. Also a full service. Good spot though Giles!
