I cycled to the source of the Thames. The first 110km were amazing, along canals,endless gravel, then the rest to Cirencester was OK just shit lanes but the final 15km to the Thames head almost finished me. It's not easily accessible so I ended up on a lot of dead end path and the last bit was just pushing through some overgrown path full of stinging nettles. Exit through a muddy field and gates everywhere, one more elaborate than the other.
But it's hilarious that the only place they mention on the sign by the source is Woolwich.
