Due to an issue of space I need to get rid of my blue ribble asap. Bought second hand in my first month in London 2012 this has been used and abused as a winter training bike, commuter, and chained up pub whip to fly home on. It is in a very bad way after being lent to a nice but disrespectful friend who has further abused it over the last six months. I don't have the time at the moment to make it nice again. Please take it and thrash it round London for a forum donation and a few beers
The deets
52 ctc seattube, 56 centre to top
56 top tube
SORA indexed, tyres which retain air
The good
Blue legendary frame
SORA which changes gear and working brakes
fine look pedals
can therefore peddled away depending on your height (see below)
The bad
Years of abuse. For many years I kept the drivetrain looked after but probably hasn't been replaced for 1-2k km
The seatpost is currently stuck but no attempt has been made to change this as weirdly my friend has identical length legs I'm sure this would move with some effort. Currently 75cm from bottom bracket to top of saddle
front derailleur mystery. Bike returned to me with a tight front derailleur cable which is so tight it's rubbing on the down tube?!
