Enter the Fray

I did not, it's still there but I need to have it checked as the bike and owner were involved in a bad crash recently. A car coming from the opposite direction turned left whilst I was halfway across the intersection, resulting in a sudden stop from 40km ph to zero.

Unfortunately, most of the impact was absorbed by yours truly. Ambulance ride to the hospital with severe facial trauma, exploded upper lip, front teeth pushed back to the middle of my mouth, broken hand, fracture in the elbow and stretched something in the ankle.

All this happened 10 days before the due date of my girlfriend which was the worst part of the entire ordeal.

It was a non-stop rollercoaster from specialist to lawyer, from lawyer to hospital etc etc.

It's a lengthy road to recovery with fysio twice a week for a total of 7 weeks, several interventions to both lip and ongoing interventions to my teeth but I'm alive and back on the bike.

Until the Baum has been 100% checked and green lighted, it's wall art for the time being. Visually it seems okay at first glance but I have my doubts considering the impact.

This is the main reason for the Enve's arrival actually.
