  • Hihi,
My fork has a crown mudguard mount, as well as these mounts on the inside, but it doesn't have any on the outside. Are these inside mounts suitable for a front rack? I've seen some images to suggest racks can be mounted to inside mounts, but also posts suggesting they're not designed to be weight bearing.

  • I don't see why they'd be less weight bearing that outside ones, but not a fork expert.

I have a rack mounted on the inside mounts o my forks and they've been fine.

  • It may be harder to set up due to the legs of the rack being narrower than on the outside of the forks...But thats what bending it for.

As @RonnieOatmilk said, no reason for weight bearing issues.

    I would say its okay
